Essex Way

The Essex Way is a long-distance path stretching from Epping to Harwich a distance of 81 miles, the North Essex stretch passes through Fairstead, Cressing and Coggeshall.

Witham River Walk

This 3 mile walk is a mix of formal recreational areas and untended natural areas, the latter providing habitats for a wide variety of animals and birds.

Colne Valley Path

The walk is a testing 22½ miles, starting at the Great Oak in Yeldham passing through historic villages finishing at Balkerne Gate in Colchester. .

John Ray Walk
