By Rail
There are frequent trains between Witham and London Liverpool Street (50mins), and Norwich (1hr 30mins)  There are also stations at Cressing, Freeport and Braintree, served by a branch line from Witham, as well as stations at Sudbury and Bures situated on the Essex/Suffolk borders, served by a branch line from Marks Tey.  Trains are hourly on both of these branch lines.

By Road

The National Express coach network has daily coaches into Witham and to Stansted Airport, linking all major destinations in the UK.

There is an extensive bus network across North Essex, making many of the towns and villages assessible.

By Air
London Stansted is just 20 minutes from North Essex with direct access via the A120, there are regular coach transfers between Stansted and Braintree.

By Sea
North Essex is within easy reach of the ports of Tilbury and Harwich.
Harwich is only 50mins via train or 45 mins via road (A120, A133, A12), where as tilbury is 1hr by road.
